To condition your Motorola battery when new, charge it fully and keep the charger plugged in for a few extra hours. Allow the phone to run the battery down completely and repeat this cycle 2-3 times. Once a month apply this cycle. You should get increased battery life when you apply this conditioning. Note that a lot of batteries deteriorate after a year or so of normal use and even quicker with heavy use.
